Mrs. Hana Buchtelová learned weaving as a little girl after she had persuaded his grandfather, weaver Jan Okénka. After that, she studied the grammar school in Strážnice and she graduated from the College of Garden Architecture in Lednice.
For all the time she has lived in a village of Malá Vrbka in the Horňácko Region. A secluded location, the family and high unemployment have led her back to the weaving loom at which she creates her hand-made compositions.
You can either order the products at the workshop in Malá Vrbka, or buy them at her stall at the fairs – e.g. at the Ride of Kings in Včnov, at the folklore festivals in Horňácko or Strážnice, or at the Nicolas’s Fair in Valašské Klobouky…
