Decorative gingerbread nuts by Anna Búřilová

Already for several generations, the family of Anna Bořilová has been making historical decorative gingerbreads, as was the custom in the 16th century. They are dark flat gingerbreads pressed into wooden forms in the shape of hearts, horses, soldiers, Easter and Christmas motives… Traditional Old Czech gingerbread is not a sweet but a decoration you can take in your hands, stroke it and smell it.
