The Žufánek Family Distillery

The White Carpathians are mountains heated by the sun in the summer, covered with snow in the winter. Their most precious fruit – plum brandy – with the smell of blossoming trees is equally pure and strong. The Žufánek family in Boršice u Blatnice planted new orchards and uses only traditional technology, without any additives, water or sugar, flavourings – and after repeated distillation pure plum brandy rests there, which after years of maturation becomes fine but strong remedy suitable for tiredness and beginning illnesses. The visit to the family distillery can be combined with nut brandy, sour cherry brandy or mead tasting, gathering at pork or with a walk in the orchard.
