65 0000 of visitors on 50 km historical waterway, (it means 2500 more than in 2007 season), increasing number of visitors on houseboats (1/3 development), new ship Morava in Spytihněv for 60 pasangers, 2 new private Hire + Drive offices (in Petrov and Uherský Ostroh) and a lot of plans for the future... 17/10 Dedication of the new Chapel in Senior´s House - Invitation
On the 23-th, 10.2008 (Thursday), at 11.00 in Senior´s House in Boršice a new Chapel was dedicated. The House is operate by the Czech Caritas.

Originally there was a long room, not very high (2,7m), with a lot of pipes, without windows, with many doors... Room is unfortunatelly in the underground.
Solution was find in contrast between cramped old space and new organic-shaped stuctured coridor and unusual central rotated interier. Demolition of the part of main wall was necessary in order to connect with a window (to expand the area). Indirect lighting helps to push the ceiling up,...
Final prize incl. project, building works (ceramic tiles, new wals, doors, windows...) heating, electricity and seats is 31 000 EUR incl VAT. It means 85 EUR per m3 of the room. It is nice, isn´t it?
Of course, You can visit this place. I tis necessary to ring at the main entrance to the Seniors House in Boršice.
